Background Checks
Security background checks for persons 18 years and older, including a search for criminal history with fingerprinting, will be conducted by a reputable firm. The results of the security background checks will be reviewed by the children’s pastor and authorized church staff.
All information gathered through background checks and service application will be kept confidential and will only be shown to authorized church staff.
Volunteers are reviewed on a regular basis for re-appointment to their current or new positions.
Volunteers that are not approved for serving in the children’s ministry will be re-directed to other areas of service.
